Consistent quality and service with great value. I love the blueberry pancakes! The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was homey and clean.

Stayed at the hotel next door and I thought it would same me trip later to find some Coney dogs. Order the Coney special, two dogs and fries with everything on them. The hot dogs were done to perfection and none of the toppings over powered the taste of the hot dogs. My only complaint was that the chili could have been hotter (temperature wise), by the time I got to the second hot dog it was getting cold. Our waitress was quick on taking the orders and serving the drinks, but then disappeared until we were getting ready to leave. A refill would have been good.

Solid diner offerings--chili, burgers, greek salads, gyros, omlettes, breakfast skillets have never disappointed. Salads are almost too big! The best around? No. But always satisfying, never "off".

Good , dependable and quick diner style food. Waitresses are always friendly. Service is prompt. Food is always tasty. Can't be beat for breakfast.

A good, bit above average Coney Island. Plenty of dishes from which to choose. Not the highest quality ingredients, but that's reflected in the pricing. Good service and quick. I've had several meals here when I'm on this end of town. I guess it's my go yo place. Sizes are large, food is hot and tastes good. Waitresses are nice and friendly.

Went here on Monday October 27th 2014 .. Got carry out breakfast.... Ham and cheese omelet with hash browns... All was very fresh and delicious.... Price is right.... Definitely go back when in area.....

Had the coneys, and while the dogs were pretty good and the full size of the bun, the chili did not have an abundance of flavor. The onions dominated the flavor. They do have a lot on the menu.

One of my favorite counters in Ann Arbor - in the time it took for me to order and pick up a takeout breakfast sandwich, I got my coffee filled twice, y'know what I'm saying? If you catch the weekday special before 11, breakfast is a steal. The Greek Scrambler did me happy on New Years Day and the waitress brought my kids oyster crackers as parting gifts. Pretty delightful.

Came here for a quick breakfast on the way out of town. Fair priced offerings that were hearty if not inspired. I had a greek scramble. It was a large plate of food, easily enough for 2 meals. I subbed mushrooms for peppers, the mushrooms were canned. The gyro meat was generous, plenty of salty feta, mishrooms and onions. The cinnamon toast was done right and buttered well. The hash browns were disappointing. I asked for well done, received hash browns that were barely browned and still raw in some spots. Service was quick and efficient.

First time, this location has a quaint atmosphere, acknowledged upon first arriving even though it was busy- and sat instantly. It's a rainy, fall day and the hot chocolate came swiftly from the waitress ending her shift. Two #8- under $20 for two people with a beverage. Service was pleasant. 4 stars from me, doesn't need to be fancy to be a hidden gem.

I'll keep it short and sweet: everything i had here (Loose burger, Hoagie, and chili cheese fries) was average. Not too great, but not too bad. However there are better coneys in the area, so this would not be at the top of my list in future.

I had a client call on Plymouth Road today and was hungry so based on the recent Yelp reviews, I stopped in to Mark's for an early lunch. The servers are super-friendly and helpful (my first time there) and had the chili with beef and onions and the chef salad with a bunch of alterations (no ham, no American chesse, substitute A for B, dressing on the side, that type of stuff). No problem. The kitchen got everything right, my food came out quick, and the food was tasty. A very satisfying lunch for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for?

Just what you want in a diner: good service, good food, good price. I work in the area, so I frequent this Coney Island at least once every two weeks. The breakfasts are all good, especially the omelettes and their gyros are spot on.

Ummm, yeah, this coneys island was similar to Lafayette's...but I think I like Lafayette's better. My friend got the Coney Island Special which looked pretty good, with the coney and ground beef combo. I got just the normal coney. We both got the chili cheese fries as well. My friend loved it, but he claimed the one in Southfield was better. I.... thought it was similar to Lafayette's, except the coney was put together much better. Just the whole meal was put together quite nicely...when I picked up my coney, it didn't flop all over the place and the chili stayed in place. The fries were perfectly stacked, without spilling when I grabbed for a fry in the middle of the pile. So, presentation wise.... it was pretty nice. The restaurant too, newly renovated, was nice and super clean, although a tad empty for a weekday night. The waitress was super friendly and we had actual menus....which I liked as well. Food wise though? From a foodie standpoint.... not so great...but from an overall comfort feel, this place was kind of nice?

I'm not really sure why Ann Arbor (or MI in general?) is in love with coney island restaurants, but these places are about a dime a dozen here. I found myself here one night craving some coney dogs (basically a chili dog with mustard + onions) and it was decently good. This is your typical diner coney island place and it's a good place, but there's nothing spectacular or extra special here as far as I can tell. The coneys are solid, the fries may be a little too fried and oily (maybe in a good way? I wasn't in the mood to be super greased up that night), and the gyro is pretty good too. Can't say anything for the breakfast or other sandwiches, but if you're in the mood for a solid diner/coney island place, this will hit the spot.

We were pleasantly surprised! The food was good, cheap, and came out so fast! Our server was really fast and friendly! Her recommendation of the flaming cheese (I forgot what it was really called) was really fun and yum! Husband's coney island dog was good, too. Will go back for a fast bite to eat.

Anytime you have at least one sharkbowl from Ricks in AA, you're probably going to wake up feeling shitty. In order to overcome that shittiness, hop down Plymouth road until you get to Mark's Midtown. Order a coney or two and chase with coffee and/or Diet Coke. At least that is what I do. Works every time. Anyway this is the best coney I have ever had. Leo's... National... whatever. Mark knows how to do it best!

I'm a big Coney Island fan and I've had some of the Best of Detroit (Lafyette"s Coney) and grew up to Davison's Coney Island in Oak Park. This place is the best Coney in the Ann Arbor Area and the place I go to for a good Coney dog.

I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. This place is awesome as far as coney islands go. The service is friendly and the food tastes real and is always really hot and seems fresh. Green beans are good. Not canned. Chicken lemon rice soup is soup-er tasty. Everything is pretty affordable, too.

One of the best coneys in ann arbor. Both breakfast and lunch are good. Try the Greek salad with gyro meat. The small one is huge. It's much nicer inside since the smoking ban.

This place was decent. We were seated right away. Service was average. I ordered a tuna melt and fries. Fries were excellent, tuna melt was OK. Too much tuna, if that is even possible on a tuna melt, LOL. My friends both had salads with bread, which looked yummy. Anyway, this place is nothing to write home about, and below average on the coney island lists of the Detroit area, IMO. However, good place for a quick lunch during the week.

Service was indifferent. Ordered a pepsi w/ lemon and just got the lemon. I ordered a dog and coslaw. The dog was good but the slaw tested old. Like it was not cold enough. Bad cooler? My wife ordered the seafood platter and found the shrimp was bad. Had to ask twice for a to-go box. Then had to wait to cash out. When we mentioned the shrimp they did not offer to take it off the bill. Next time we'll eat at mid-town coneys on state st.

Been coming here for the weekday breakfast specials lately and they really are too good to pass up. 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast for under $4! The breakfast crew sure knows how to fry an egg, too. Seriously one of my favorite places to eat in Ann Arbor.
